Congratulations to Chris French
In the times of COVID-19, graduation ceremonies have been cancelled, but we didn’t want Chris French‘s achievements to go unnoticed. Yesterday, Chris dropped into the University of Adelaide to pick up his certificate and, keeping an appropriate distance, was presented with his Master of Applied Project Management.
During his studies, Chris chose to focus on Organisational Leadership and Growth, with the final thesis being based around achieving strategic alignment for a professional services firm. This directly related to his role at Shoal and leadership of our Transport & Infrastructure team.
“I have always been ambitious, driven and eager to expand my studies beyond engineering, into the business side of the world,” said Chris. “With Shoal highly supportive of personal and professional development opportunities, when the time was right for me to commence these studies, the company was extremely supportive. Not only was Shoal supportive of the learnings itself, but it was an acknowledgement of my career progression. As such, corporate opportunities were formed to allow me to utilise and leverage my now expanded skillsets, directly impacting and improving the organisation. That reinforces the learnings and I am continually encouraged to learn more, do more and take myself (and Shoal!) to a better place.”
Congratulations to Chris. We are very proud of his achievements.
