Derek Rogers is Chief Engineer of Shoal and the Engineering Lead for Defence Systems Engineering. A professional engineer with significant experience in the commercial and defence sectors in Engineering Management, Systems Engineering, and Project Management, he holds numerous qualifications and has been the recipient of multiple significant engineering awards. Derek is a Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers, and recognised as a Fellow, Charted Professional Engineer and Engineering Executive by Engineers Australia. He is also an adjunct with several universities to the level of Professor.
