Shoal Group shortlisted for award at IAC 2025

Shoal Group is proud to announce that its interactive poster presentation, ‘The non-prescriptive approach of the Australian Space (Launches and Returns) regulations: Ensuring safety while supporting space industry’, has been shortlisted as a finalist in the 2025 Interactive Presentations Competition at the 76th International Astronautical Congress (IAC).
From over 1,028 entries, only 87 presentations were selected by the International Programme Committee, placing Shoal’s submission among the top contenders for this globally recognised award. The five most outstanding presentations will be announced during a dedicated ceremony on Thursday 2 October 2025, with a cash prize and certificate offered to winners across five categories:
- Category A – Science and Exploration
- Category B – Applications and Operations
- Category C – Technology
- Category D – Infrastructure
- Category E – Space and Society.
This recognition highlights Shoal’s commitment to advancing safe and innovative practices in the space industry through systems engineering and regulatory insight.
