DVCS Blue and White Gala Ball a success

Shoal was proud to sponsor and participate in the Domestic Violence Crisis Service (DVCS) Blue and White Gala Ball held at the QT Hotel in Canberra on Saturday, 16 May.

Almost 600 people, including some of the Shoal team, the ACT Chief Minister and local and Federal politicians, heard Australian of the Year, Rosie Batty (shown above), advocate for change in how society treats domestic violence. We also enjoyed a rousing performance by music industry icon, Kate Ceberano (shown below), and the wit of our host, Jane Caro.

Over $100,000 was raised to improve DVCS support for people whose lives are affected by domestic violence and the multifaceted problems they face. More information about DVCS can be found on the DVCS website or Facebook page.
