Shoal is named Adelaide’s Best Smart Business

Shoal is extremely honoured to be named Adelaide’s Best Smart Business at ‘The City Awards 2018’ at Monday’s (23 July) presentation dinner. Shoal’s Iryna Federico was presented the Best Smart Business Award by The Lord Mayor of Adelaide, Martin Haese.

This year, The City Awards added four new categories to celebrate companies that have made an outstanding contribution to the themes identified in the City of Adelaide’s Strategic Plan – green, smart, liveable and creative. The Lord Mayor stated that the awards — which launched in 2015 — offered a “tremendous opportunity” to celebrate the successes of local businesses.

Shoal was shortlisted along with two other finalists after making a submission on innovation, technology, intellectual property and community contributions. In addition, an in-office visit and interview by two judges, Ben Kirchner and Rhys Moult, from the City of Adelaide formed part of the selection process.

We are very proud to be recognised as Adelaide’s Best Smart Business and hope to continue making such an impact.
