Shoal turns 15
May 2016 marks Shoal’s 15th anniversary – starting out as a consultancy in 2001 Shoal has developed into an organization with multiple offices in Australia and the United States and a team of 25.
Formally known as Aerospace Concepts, the company was created to pursue interesting and challenging technical consulting work and quickly established the scope to undertake complex, demanding concept development tasks.
Originally founded in Canberra, Shoal now calls Adelaide home with the decision to open an office in the Adelaide CBD last December.
Shoal turning 15 capstones what has been an exciting journey, particularly the past few years of growth and change. To celebrate the Shoal team held an ‘all-hands event’ where we reflected on where we are, and where we are going into the future. The event wasn’t all ‘business’ though, with gifts of Shoal branded cufflinks and brooches, cake and champagne prior to some very competitive racing on the company Nintendo Wii.
Shoal takes this opportunity to thank its partners, consultants and of course the team in helping in the success we have enjoyed over the last 15 years. With the opening of the South Australia headquarters, Shoal has opened a new chapter of growth and future development for the next 15 years and beyond.
