The event held in Sydney on 14 December 2021, provided an opportunity to recognise the achievements and excellence of the industry’s most illustrious professionals and businesses, as well as all defence industry stakeholders, including primes, small-to-medium enterprises (SME), academic institutions and associations, as well as high-performing individuals such as defence executives, Indigenous and female leaders, students, scientists, technicians, and academics.

In a nod to all of our talent, Shoal’s Emilie Morscheck was a finalist for Graduate of the Year amongst some of those at large defence primes. Shoal was a finalist in 4 of the award categories, including SME Business of the Year, Graduate Program of the Year, Graduate of the Year and Rising Star.

238 finalists competed across 32 categories this year.
