Shoal is very pleased to congratulate Hanwha Defense Australia on being selected to provide the Redback Infantry Fighting Vehicle to the Australian Army under Project LAND 400 Phase 3, the largest, most complex and expensive project in Australian Army history.
Hanwha will provide up to 129 vehicles with manufacturing occurring in Australia.
Shoal played an integral role in the early stages of development of TEAM REDBACK, a collection of leading Australian companies involved in the design and development of the program approach and vehicle design. Upon congratulating Hanwha Defense Australia on the win, Deputy CEO, Mike Hartas, said:
“Being awarded this contract is testament to Hanwha’s ability to work closely with leading Australian companies, forming TEAM REDBACK to develop a superior design to meet the Australian Army’s requirements. Shoal is very proud to have played a part in this success, and we look forward to Hanwha’s ongoing and continuing engagement with Australian industry.”
