Shoal Group congratulate Quantum Brilliance on contract with Germany’s Cyber Agency

Shoal Group congratulates Quantum Brilliance, who have partnered with ParityQC, to be awarded a joint contract with Cyberagentur, Germany’s Cyber Agency. They are one of three bids selected for Cyberagentur’s largest research amount ever awarded, a €35 million project to make a mobile quantum computer by 2027.

Quantum Brilliance are leaders in miniaturised, room-temperature quantum computing products and solutions, and ParityQC are the world’s only quantum architecture company. Their strategic partnership allows them to combine complementary technologies, essential in achieving mobile quantum computing.

The project’s goal is to make a mobile quantum computer for use in defence, security and civilian applications and is designed to keep Germany at the forefront of technological innovation.

“It’s great to see an Australian company recognised as leaders in quantum computing,” said Shaun Wilson, CEO at Shoal Group, “particularly by a country who is one of the world’s leading investors in wide range of advanced technologies.”
