Shoal and QxBranch return to the Clipsal 500

Shoal and QxBranch are proud to support Michael O’Donnell’s racing efforts for a fourth consecutive year. This month saw him return to the Clipsal 500 in Adelaide in a new Porsche 997.2 GT3 for Round 1 of the CAMS Australian GT Championship.

Shoal team members were in situ to witness the events of the weekend which included kerb abuse, momentary flight, several near misses, and speeds of over 200km/h. This made for an exciting race as was evident in the highlights reel.

After twenty-five laps of the Clipsal circuit in each race, O’Donnell finished twentieth in Race 1 on Friday, moved up to sixteenth on Saturday in Race 2, followed by sixteenth again in Race 3 on Sunday, in a very competitive field. The Shoal team eagerly awaits the next race on the calendar as O’Donnell takes the Porsche to the Formula 1 Rolex Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne.
