Shoal Group congratulate Quantum Brilliance on world first milestone at Oak Ridge National Library

Shoal Group warmly congratulates Quantum Brilliance on the successful installation of three on-site quantum computers at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) in the United States.

This landmark achievement demonstrates the growing integration of quantum computing into high-performance computing (HPC) environments and paves the way towards a future where hundreds of parallel quantum computers are embedded alongside classical systems, fundamentally changing the landscape of HPC.

The collaboration between Quantum Brilliance and ORNL represents years of dedication and innovation. It is a milestone that not only advances the field of quantum-classical hybrid computing but also strengthens international partnerships, driving the next generation of computational capabilities.

Our collaboration with ORNL marks a significant milestone for Quantum Brilliance and the future of quantum computing and is the result of years of close collaboration with Travis Humble and the incredible team at ORNL,” said Mark Luo, CEO of Quantum Brilliance. “Together, we are working towards the vision of integrating our GPU-sized diamond quantum systems with ORNL’s world-class HPC infrastructure.

Shoal Group founder and CEO, Shaun Wilson, is a member of the Quantum Brilliance advisory board and an early investor in the company.

I commend Quantum Brilliance for their leadership and vision in achieving this breakthrough,” said Shaun. “As a fellow innovator in complex systems and advanced technologies, we celebrate this success as an important step in shaping the future of high-performance computing worldwide.
