The search for our next graduates begins
Applications are now open for Shoal’s graduate program, ShoalGrad 2025. If you are a student studying engineering at a university across Australia, this could be your opportunity to join our systems engineering team and explore your interest in systems engineering, and modelling and simulation.
“At Shoal, our mission is to apply systems thinking to bring about positive change,” says Shaun Wilson, CEO and Founder of Shoal Group. “We’re looking for curious, motivated graduates who want to make a difference and are excited by solving complex problems.”
ShoalGrad is a two year program that offers a career-defining experience for recent graduates. The two year program is based on five core principles that provide a foundation for early career professionals; explore, support, develop, connect and excel. ShoalGrads are provided with opportunities across the company to explore and experience a range of offerings. They will work closely with a technical supervisor to explore solutions and be mentored and supported by our team across the business, from senior systems engineers to our recent graduates.
“At Shoal, we are very proud of our world leading technical expertise, as a complex systems design company,” says Wilson. “To set ShoalGrads on the path to excellence, we partner them with senior mentors to support their technical development. We encourage both internal and external training to build skills too.”
ShoalGrad 2025 seeks candidates who will graduate this year (or within the past 24 months) and are ready to base themselves in Adelaide for the two year program. Applicants will need a degree qualification in engineering, with electrical or electronic disciplines advantageous. An interest in Shoal’s key industry sectors is desired. These include Defence, Infrastructure (including new energy), Space and Transport. Australian citizenship is required for Defence clearance.
